Alzheimer’s disease is a prominent condition affecting so many individuals that his customers provide care for. It is challenging for all involved and is something that Dave is committed to support, in the hopes that our combined fund raising can accelerate the work to find a cure.
Dave is a cardio junkie and tends to just like to train to stay fit, healthy and happy. He has raced a handful triathlons but has turned his attention to cycling in recent years. Zwift, an indoor training app for cyclists, is where he logs most of his miles but he is going to need to prepare for the elements the Pedal for Alzheimer’s event will throw at him.
PointClickCare sponsored this event in 2018 and Dave decided it was time to make a bigger splash and will be riding 1,098 miles in 12 days as a 1098 Cyclist in 2019. He will be matching the donations of those that support him personally so every dollar pledged will count as two.
“One day is challenging enough but 100 miles a day for 12 days in whatever mother nature throws at you… scary. Thankfully, I will have a strong group of riders to help me along as well as an amazing support crew to keep us on track. Grateful to join up with the Pedal for Alzheimer’s crew to raise funds and help fight this disease. Please help us reach our goal and donate!”
