Deborah Heart and Lung Center in Browns Mills, New Jersey treats some of the most critically ill heart, lung, and vascular patients in the state of New Jersey. As the state’s only heart specialty hospital, we often have the distinction of caring for patients that have gone elsewhere and are still seeking answers for their ailments. Despite this, our medical outcomes continue to rank as some of the best (according to HCAHPS; the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems).
For the past 96 years, we have operated with the vision of continuing to be the premier provider of cardiovascular and pulmonary services in the region. More importantly, we do this without ever having billed a patient for our services.
Deborah Hospital Foundation works tirelessly to raise vital funds to continue this altruistic philosophy by recruiting donors and fundraisers to be part of what we call the Cycle of Goodness. The Cycle of Goodness depends on the generosity of those that believe individuals should not make serious and potentially life-saving decisions based on their personal finances. The funds raised in this challenge will go towards the continuation of this billing philosophy; ensuring that patients will continue to receive Deborah's medical expertise for generations without any out of pocket expense. Your support is crucial to us and we’re thankful for the opportunity to increase your support through the OceanFirst Charity Challenge.
