Our Mission: Dog Tag Inc. (DTI) empowers transitioning service-disabled veterans, military spouses, and caregivers to discover personal and professional fulfillment in the civilian world through an innovative five-month business and entrepreneurial-focused fellowship program.
This holiday season, we want to ensure our veterans and military families have access to a learning space that is safe, supportive, and challenges them to succeed. It costs around $18,000 to fund each participant in our five-month program, so we’re asking our supporters to help #FundAFellow. Your donation will go towards empowering a service-disabled veteran, caregiver, or military spouse to find personal and professional fulfillment in the civilian careerworld.
You can help veterans like Rachael, who started her own culinary pop-up business in the Washington, DC area after graduating from Dog Tag’s Fellowship Program. Rachael felt lost after her military service ended, but her time at Dog Tag helped her find the clarity and peace of mind to pursue her dream of operating her own restaurant. Today she’s using the business skills she picked up at Dog Tag to make those dreams a reality.
Every donation will help veterans like Rachael build a bridge to employment, entrepreneurship, and productive civilian life. Together, we can #FundAFellow and say “thank-you” to the returning veterans with disabilities, military spouses, and caregivers that have served our country so well.
We believe that transformational change happens when we create a learning space that is safe, supported, yet challenges our fellows. Dog Tag Bakery acts as an incubator for Dog Tag’s veteran education program, providing participants with the unique opportunity to apply classroom learnings about business in a real-life growing small business. Fellows gain first-hand experience in running all aspects of a small business, giving them the tools to create their own success story after graduation.
