I wanted to let you that this year I am running the 2017 Chicago Marathon. My initial thought was to simply run the marathon as the next step in my progression as a runner. However, over the last month the natural disasters that have hit the US have made me realize that I need to do something to help. My goal is now to help the victims of Hurricane Irma and Harvey. The charity I have chosen to support is the American Red Cross. They have been an integral part of disaster relief for years and I am taking this opportunity to do whatever small part I can to help raise money. My goal is to raise $1,000 to donate to the American Red Cross. My office, Silberstein & Gilbert Orthodontics, will also match 50% of donations that are submitted by October 6th!
Please help those in need and donate whatever you can for this worthy cause and I will CRUSH THE MARATHON FOR YOU!
