It's April, the big day is quickly approaching! Thank you to all that have donated. What an incredible amount of money for these kids. It is going to make an enormous difference.
I am THRILLED to share that I have been chosen to run the 2018 Boston Marathon as a member of Team Framingham. I will be representing my school, Potter Road, on Marathon Monday! This has been a dream of mine for awhile now and I am so thankful to have been given this opportunity!
Please help me as I raise money for Resiliency for Life, a program that hits close to home as a Framingham educator. All of my students will ultimately filter into the high school one day and this program could help push some of them to graduation and beyond. This program supports FHS students who are considered "at risk." Teachers and social workers lend support to these children both inside and outside of school, ultimately building their confidence and self esteem. This group benefits children that need the extra push to go on with their education and social lives. They also hold celebrations to encourage students to not give up.
Thank you for all of your support! I am very excited for the race.
