In 2012 we found out that our one-year-old Daisy was losing her hearing to a very common virus that we had never heard of. Cytomegalovirus impacts at least 6,000 children in the United States each year, taking their hearing and sight, giving them seizures and cerebral palsy.
The National CMV Foundation's mission is to end the devastation caused by CMV. We do that by funding research about CMV and projects to raise awareness of CMV. CMV is common, CMV is serious, and CMV is preventable. Your donation will help us fund research projects that will lead to the elimination of congenital CMV.
