The Habitat Faith Build offers opportunities for churches, organizations, and residents with different personal histories, experiences, and walks of faith to work together toward a common, worthwhile goal. In 2017 fourteen Winston-Salem faith organizations contributed financing and labor to build two homes for the Stevenson and Graham families.
As a part of this collaboration members from a variety of churches gather for monthly informational breakfasts hosted by different churches or houses of faith. These breakfast gatherings are a fellowship that is interracial and hosted at a variety of places of worship from the Christian, Muslim, and Jewish faith. This is an opportunity for members from congregations of different backgrounds to come together to learn, raise money and build a Habitat home while creating mutual trust, developing new friendships, and inspiring hope in our community!
