GoGreen Organics manufactures simple growing units so busy / unskilled people can grow abundant supplies of fresh greens, vegetables and herbs indoors. Our commercial unit is extremely user-friendly. The unique 'Ferris Wheel' design brings plants to the operator’s optimal work level – so even wheelchair-bound individuals and seniors - can plant, tend and harvest large volumes of food.
Our business model is to make our commercial growing units SIMPLE, INNOVATIVE and EASY-TO-USE, while providing an unbeatable VALUE + OUTPUT + ROI PROPOSITION along with extreme ease of access and ‘hands off’ growing.
Our units operate on 12 volts (to eliminate the need for UL approval), and they reduce electrical consumption by up to 70% over competing units. They feature a center array of single band-width LED light strips to reduce heat build-up, and they use parabolic mirrors (basically "disco balls") in a highly inventive way to blend and distribute the light array for maximum plant growth and yield. GGO has successfully filed a provisional patent on the design and owns all rights to it. We are raising $35,000 to complete payments to the design firm we initially hired to develop this unit, and to have them build 4 prototype units. Two of the units we be placed within an existing food pantry in "The Nations" food desert in Nashville, Tennessee. The other two units will be housed in the GGO offices, where we will put them through an extensive array of tests before releasing them to commercial production.
