Kingsgate Skating Club and Sno-King Ice Arena Kirkland are excited to be joining the Scott Hamilton CARES Foundation in Sk8 to Elimin8 Cancer and the fight against cancer. Over many years we have had skaters and their family members touched by cancer including coach and Host Ambassador of Sk8 to Elimin8 Cancer Maria Murphy.
Coming together as a community to raise awareness and funds for research is a goal our club hopes to meet during this process.
A portion of the proceeds raised will benefit Ben Towne Center for Childhood Cancer Research our local Charity of Choice.
Here is how it works:
- Register above
- Raise Funds
- Receive Rewards
- Join us for our Sk8 to Elimin8 Cancer Kick Off event March 10, 2018 2:15 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. during the Public Session. We will be having a Frozen 5 K.
- Contact Maria Murphy at email@example.com for a pledge form and start collecting pledges for your laps at the event. All checks payable to Scott Hamilton CARES Foundation.
- Skate with us at the On Ice Celebration Sk8 to Elimin8 Cancer "Believe" July 27, 2018 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
- Individuals, duets, large group numbers are welcome. Registration will be via Kingsgate Skating Club website if you'd like to skate in the event. We will have a silent auction and a fun intermission fundraiser opportunity.
