High Fives Foundation is a non-profit organization that raises awareness for injury prevention, as well as supports the dreams of outdoor sports athletes. They provide resources and inspiration to athletes that suffer life-altering injuries. We want to support this organization because we'd like to give the people who suffer from those injuries an opportunity of a lifetime. On our team, we have all been very fortunate when it comes to injuries and we want to help the people that aren't as fortunate return to the sport they love.
Our team has grown up training at Whaleback Mountain. We have been very lucky to have it as a resource for weekday training. We believe it's time to give back and have it continue to be a place that allows other kids the same chance to get out and ski, as well as have a blast.
COOL NEWS: We're amping our efforts by partnering with Positive Tracks – an organization that helps young people sweat for good. In addition to supporting us and our effort, they are doubling the dollars we raise for High Fives Foundation and Whaleback Mountain, up to $1,000!
