Since 2000, Freezing Fun For Families has provided over $400,000.00 in financial assistance to 29 Vermont families that have battled childhood cancer. Every year there are 27-30 new diagnosis of childhood cancer in Vermont alone. Our mission is to alleviate the finacial stress of families battling childhood cancer.
Through the support of the Drury Family and Freezing Fun For Families, the Konner Drury Foundation can help up to thirteen families every year.
A beneficiary of the 2011 Snow Softball Fundraiser, Ten year old Konner Drury lost his battle with cancer in 2014. Established in 2017 in Konner's memory, the Konner Drury Foundation offers an easily obtainable grant of $250 to help with the unforeseen expenses that arise when families first discover that their child has been diagnosed with cancer. Be it lost wages, added travel, or bills that go unattended as families process the dramatic change to their livelihood.
