Feeling disunited and dispirited? We're not! We came together to raise funds for hurricane victims and then to celebrate reaching our first $1500 goal. Want to feel better too? Contribute now and help us reach our second and final goal of $2500.
As Superstorm Sandy survivors, we want this #NJStandsByU campaign to also be a message of hope to hurricance victims that they too can be “Stronger than the Storm.” And we want the thousands of Red Cross volunteers working under extreme hardship to know how much we appreciate their sacrifices.
We don't have to tell you how bad things are in the hurricane-ravaged US territories and even coastal areas from Florida to Texas. Just turn on the television or read the papers.
Hats off to the Beer Institute for partnering with the New Jersey State Society for our October 18th thank you reception for contributors and for helping us launch the next phase of our #NJStandsByU campaign for Red Cross Hurricane Relief.
Funding and contributions from around the country helped the Garden State survive and so too will your contribution help victims of the hurricane of your choice. The Red Cross gave over $312 million in aid and supplies to Sandy victims during and after the hurricane. It is now focused for the long term on providing food, water, supplies and housing to the most severely affected 2017 hurricane victims. The work will go on for many months, even years.
You Please make your tax deductible donation to the Red Cross on this site and be a part of our message of support and goodwill. More details about the New Jersey State Society of Washington DC are at www.njss.org
