The CdLS Foundation provides a host of services that educate and unite families touched by this little-known genetic syndrome - most of which are at no cost. Your support of the #GivingTuesday campaign will allow the Foundation to continue to provide just a few of the following valuable resources.
Here is what your donation can provide:
$3,000 - Attendance at a national convention to educate leading medical and allied health professionals by attending a convention.
$1,500 - The cost of one of the five family gatherings held throughout the country each year.
$1,000 - A research grant given to a professional interested in exploring topics such as sleep, nutrition and education.
$500 - Travel/lodging expense reimbursement for one family to attend a CdLS Foundation sponsored clinic.
$100 - Provides a new family member with the initial outreach to a licensed family services coordinator and the New Parent Packet filled will information about CdLS and the support services provided at the Foundation.
$75 - One classroom toolkit to help educate teachers and students in Kindergarten through 5th grade about CdLS. The kit includes a book about a little girl with CdLS, games for children and important educational information for teachers and school staff.
$50 - Diagnostic checklist packet to 10 health professionals.
