This holiday season, I am fundraising for Advancing Justice - Asian Law Caucus.
I've seen firsthand the impactful work Advancing Justice - Asian Law Caucus has done, and continues to do. From defending our communities from workplace discrimination and housing evictions to fighting deportations, racial & religious profiling, and disenfranchisement, our organization does so much for our community.
Some things we've accomplished recently: In California we passed four huge pro-immigrant bills, making California a safer and more just place, including the CA Values Act, making California the first sanctuary state in the nation. Nationally, we partnered with our allies to challenge the Muslim Ban and brought a lawsuit against ICE to stop indefinite detention of Cambodian detainees. In San Francisco, we passed the San Francisco Anti-Registry Ordinance, stopping the city from using resources or providing information to assist in any government registry of individuals on the basis of religion, national origin, or ethnicity.
We've accomplished a lot this past year, but there is still more work to be done. Advancing Justice - ALC is on the frontlines of the resistance. Every dollar makes a difference in the lives of the clients we serve. For gifts of $250 and above, we would like to offer you a complimentary t-shirt.
Thanks for your support. It means everything.
P.S. If you would like to make a gift by check, please mail to:
