We all strongly believe that education is a powerful tool to build a path to a better future for world, but sadly not all children are fortunate enough to pursue this path. The high school student, Aaryan Patel observed during his trip to India to that many kids had to skip their schooling, in order to sell beautiful artistic items to incoming tourists which helped to establish a simple form of daily living for the families. He decided to help these artist’s kids and also endorse the beautiful regions of Gujarat they belonged. On his return home to US, Aaryan started to work towards his vision of global society collaborating on the efforts of Gujarati culture via school club programs and other cultural activities such as performing art from Gujarat. This is how he founded Gujjuroots, which is a non-profit organization to promote Gujarati language and culture by providing a common platform to sustain and perpetuate the cultural heritage of Gujarat, India.
Your contribution will help the mission of Gujjuroots Foundation to raise awareness of Gujarati Heritage by empowering grade-school students via Gujarati school-clubs, other cultural events such as performing arts competitions and cultural exhibitions and eventually boost fund for education support for underprivileged children from Gujarat, India.
