In an effort to help eradicate curable blindness in India, I am beginning the 6th Annual month-long initiative to donate funds through the Sankara Eye Foundation.
Unfortunately, those who live in rural India do not know that “curable blindness”, such as Cataracts and Glaucoma, is curable nor do they have the resources to get the proper medical attention.
This is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to realize the goal of 20/20 vision for the poorest people in India. They are the largest free eye care provider in the world with nine hospitals performing approximately 160,000 free eye surgeries each year – more than 1.66 million to date.
Together, we have raised $8,000+ over the last five fundraising periods. That means we have helped 265+ individuals receive eye surgery! ($30 covers one surgery).
Thank you for your time and consideration and I look forward to any support you are able to provide. Please forward this to anyone you believe may want to contribute.
