Just this week I was at Disney watching how my children and the kids of many other American's were having a great time and enjoying the beautiful day. Riding rides, eating food, as they enjoy time with their families. Yet, my wife shows me a video of a young boy in Syria, running as he carried his little brother, in the hopes that the military vehicles passing by do not see him, and if they did that they wont hurt him. However, by the looks of it was more like dont hurt his little brother. Also, a video of a young boy crying to a nurse asking her if he was going to die? A young boy asking that! Then to see the same hospital the kid was in get bombed! That right there broke my heart and made me realize that there arent enough people doing something about it. People with power that can really help these kids. Beyond anyone's political beliefs, religious background, or even thoughts on this war, these kids dont deserve to be a part of this. They still haven't had the chance to aquire their own optinion. Yet, it is clear that their only belief is to survive at such a young age. I want to make it part of my mission in life to help as many kids as I possibly can. We were once kids, we stop being kids once we lost that innocence. Thats something you should not take from someone, that beautiful innocence and those memories that although for the children of Syria will forever be destroyed, but we can always make an impact on them and change some of those tragedies to acts of love and care that can show them that people do care for them and that even with all that evil, their is good in this world. Sorry to say it, but pretend these were your children out there crying for their dead parents and family, with no food or anything to survive. Maybe because I have children of my own and I can see their face everytime I look at one of these kids. Every dollar helps! Lets save these little angels!
