Last year, our country experienced an unprecedented disaster season. Millions of people were affected by record hurricanes, wildfires and earthquakes, prompting the largest disaster relief operation in the American Red Cross history.
Our response wouldn’t have been possible without Emergency Response Vehicles (ERVs) that deliver emergency supplies and hot meals and Bloodmobiles that collect lifesaving blood. This spring, we are focusing on replacing some of our aging vehicles which have exceeded their lifespan – and we need your help.
Our goal is to purchase a bloodmobile to be utilized in mobile blood drives throughout Southern California. Every two seconds, someone in America needs vital blood services – accident victims, cancer patients receiving chemotherapy, surgical patients, mothers giving birth, children with blood disorders and many others that require blood transfusions.
On behalf of our board of directors, volunteers, staff and all those we serve, please help us raise the necessary funding to a new Bloodmobile.
