Our beloved Samoyed, Haku, 8 years old, was recently diagnosed with nasal cancer. Although devastated, we initially chose to remain hopeful because our local vet had painted an optimistic picture. Haku had to have his nose surgically removed to prevent the cancer from spreading but we were assured that a course of radiotherapy at an animal hospital in Bangkok would eradicate the threat.
However, things took a turn for the worse. Haku’s condition continues to drop and we can no longer predict what’s going to happen and how long the process is going to take. The medical treatments also become complicated due to lack of knowledge and diagnosis in Indonesia.
We’ve been doing all we can to not lose hope but this uncertainty is terrifying because the mounting cost is not something that we had expected or could afford. We know that this is a lot to ask but it would mean the world to us if you would be so kind as to donate what you can.
