As many of you know, Henry has thrived at Clarke. He's learned to listen (as much as any 3.5 year old does!) and talk. Our home is now filled with chatter, songs, and silly jokes- thanks to the hard work of his teachers at Clarke, and we couldn't be more thankful. This is our chance to give back.
We invite you to join Henry's Hippos and Clarke Schools for Hearing and Speech in New York for the 1st annual Clarke's Listening Walk at the Zoo on Sunday, June 3, 2018 at the Bronx Zoo! Clarke's Listening Walk at the Zoo is a fun family event to raise awareness and support for children with hearing loss who are learning to listen and talk! Clarke's young students and alumni, who access sound through hearing aids or cochlear implants, along with family and friends, will embark on an exciting listening scavenger hunt that winds through the Bronx Zoo. At the ten Listening Stops, participants will see if they can identify sounds like the honk of a flamingo, the bark of a sea lion, the trilling of a pygmy marmoset, and more.
We hope you can join Henry's Hippos for a fun day and help support Clarke, which means so much to our family.
