Friends, I am a long-time supporter of EmpowHERment and former advisor on the organization's leadership team in the early days. Meaning, I believed in the vision of the founder, Carrie Cook, before EmpowHERment even secured its non-profit status. I followed this fearless leader and forsook my free time to put on the first-ever EmpowHERment summit which reaches hundreds of Charlotte-Mecklenburg Students each year - not to mention the monthly mentoring sessions and leadership academies.
So, you know this organization is near and dear to my heart! So, I'm honored to raise money for EmpowHERment for this year's #HERGivingTuesday supported by SHARE Charlotte's #GivingTuesdayCLT campaign.
EmpowHERment is committed to empowering girls and women to be leaders through mentorship, talent development and advocacy. The programs connect girls in grades 6-12 with women in thieir local communities. Your donation will make a difference in a young girls life by providing community mentoring programs throughout the city of Charlotte!
Help me meet my fundraising goal of $1,000 this year for #givingtuesdayclt! This campaign supports SHARE Charlotte's #GivingTuesdayCLT campaign.
