During this time of year when we begin planning, shopping, and decorating, our thoughts stray to periods in our lives when we have fond memories of youth, family, and friends. These fond memories usually conjure images, sounds, and tastes of seasonal decorations, music, and feasts. These traditions run deep in our country. One of these traditions is giving back to our communities and supporting those causes and organizations that matter most to you. It is through our timeless institutions and symbols of American freedoms that we enjoy the ability to pursue our conscience and celebrate according to our desires rather than burdened by the chains of oppression under a monarchy.
