Running the Boston Marathon has always been a dream of mine and I cannot believe I will banging out 26.2 miles on April 15th, 2018!I began working as a clinical social worker at Boston Children’s Hospital over two years ago, and recently began a new role in the oncology and bone marrow transplant unit. Every day I am surrounded by children who are fighting for their lives and witness the heartache and resilience of their loved ones. With these kiddos and their families as the source of my inspiration, I have decided to fundraise for the Hole in the Wall Gang for the marathon. I cannot think of a better organization to support and motivate me to get through this challenge!
Funds that are contributed to the Hole in the Wall Gang will support the Hospital Outreach Program which brings activities and events to Boston Children’s Hospital. The funds could also pay for a patient to go to The Hole in the Wall Gang camp for a week full of adventure and joy.If there is a child in your life that you love please strongly consider donating to this incredible organization!
Thank you for your generosity!
