For the past two years, Kathy and I have volunteered every Thursday night at a homeless shelter in Weymouth. It is always a highlight of the week. We spend time playing with the children -- a time for us to be silly and creative, and an opportunity to connect with some extraordinary kids who've found themselves in difficult situations.
We've watched them grow and learn. And we've seen that the structure and fun of Playspace is something they look forward to every week, just as we do. It's more than play. It's a time to learn from each other.
These kids have enriched our lives, and we hope to enrich theirs.
I'm honored and grateful to be able to run the Marathon for Horizons. And this year is extra special because I get to run it with my wife!
THANK YOU for supporting Horizons for Homeless children.
