Robert Bongi will be racing in his first Boston Marathon. A resident of Westborough MA, he has run prior marathons including Las Vegas, New Orleans, Sugarloaf, and the Marine Core in Washington DC. He credits his family for jump starting his interest in the sport. The Boston Marathon has always been a bucket list item and he looks forward to fundraising for HOPe while accomplishing it.

HOPe's mission is making a difference for children, adults, and families living with developmental challenges by providing high quality programs and much needed relief and hope. We have a two-pronged focus: to provide recreational and self-improvement opportunities to special children that they may not otherwise be able to receive, and to provide a break from the stresses of caregiving to parents.
HOPe's programs are divided into adult programs and children's programs. For Adults, we offer Community Based Day Supports, which is focused on getting our clients out in the community engaging with their peers with the help of our staff. We also offer a Day Habilitation program, which utilizes our DayHab Service Plans based on each individual’s unique needs and supports the individual to improve their life skills and acquire greater independence.
Our Children's Programs are primarily focused on weekend respite. We offer Adventure Club outings to fun areas in the community, Overnight Respite (soon to be offered Friday through Sunday for full weekend respite), Snack and Chat which includes everything from planning a meal as a group, to shopping for ingredients, to cooking and enjoying food together, and many more programs. We are proud to offer programs that enable these children to make friendships, build life skills, and get out to events in the community that they may not otherwise be able to access.
