The Gift of Health program is part of Humanity First's broader vision to reach out and provide primary health care in remote villages, where communities are deprived of access not only to basic rights, but also to preventive and medical needs. The trips are generally one-week long and take place at mobile camps in rural communities in with the support of the local Humanity First team. The Gift of Health camps include an area for registration and vitals and general medicine, dental, and pediatric clinics. A mobile pharmacy is also set up where patients receive free medicine, supplies, donations, and hygiene kits along with education. In August of 2018, The Ohio State University's Humanity First Chapter will be traveling to Antigua, Guatemala! This campaign will be accepting donations to not only help alleviate the cost for the trip but to raise money for all of the medical supplies needed for the people of Antigua. I thank you immensely for your help and generosity, God bless you.
