Failte! (That's Irish Gaelic for "Welcome"!!) The Irish Cultural and Heritage Center (ICHC) is celebrating its 22nd year at 2133 Wisconsin Avenue, the former Grand Avenue Congregational Church. This historic landmark building is steeped in history as the site of many public speeches and programs since its construction in the 1800s. With two libraries, several pubs, a large concert hall, exhibition space, and more, the ICHC is a unique community resource. BUT you don't HAVE to be Irish to appreciate the ICHC! The ICHC Hallamor Concert Series features both contemporary and traditional Irish music concerts - both local and direct from Ireland. Enjoy our monthly ceili and set dances, or rent our space for meetings, weddings, and parties! Everyone is welcome. Check us out yourself at http://www.ichc.net
Unfortunately, this beautiful building is showing its age! This is where YOU come in. YOU can help us maintain this historic gem so that everyone can continue to enjoy it. Please consider giving whatever you can! Even a $25 or $50 donation makes a BIG difference!
You can easily make a monthly donation to fit your budget. This makes it easy to give and to know that your money goes to work very quickly. You also have the option of generously covering the credit card processing fees so that ALL of your donation comes to the ICHC.
THANK YOU for supporting the ICHC so that future generations may enjoy both this landmark building and the best of Irish music, art, and culture! Please share this opportunity with your friends - if everyone gives a little, we all benefit. The web address for our campaign is www.crowdrise.com/ICHCBuildingFund. Please copy, paste, and share!
