We are graduate students pursuing an ambitious project to develop and fundraise for our inclusive instructional design course.
We are passionate about inclusive elearning pedagogical practices within the instructional design field.
Why? Learning is impacted by your cultural frame of reference. 'Learning in context' for many students improves learning transfer (retention of things learned) and cognitive learning outcomes.
We will be applying research-based best practices to design an instructional eLearning course that will enable schools (or businesses) and non-profit organizations to provide inclusive learning and development training. This short eLearning course will provide an overview of how aspects of our identity such as culture, age, and gender are related to how we learn. Organizations who complete the course will have practical tools to help them implement this knowledge, including: - Survey templates to aid in learner analysis - Checklists of specific design strategies - Innovative assessment options Help us spread the word by sharing our fundraising campaign and donating at least $10 for your first contribution. Thank you! Kim and Elizabeth Instructional Designers and Course Developers
