Our efforts in the region are two-fold: an art supply thrift store + creative arts training & programming. Through our art supply thrift store, we keep valuable materials out of the waste stream and in the hands of people who need them with our pay-what-you-can model. Please consider joining our efforts by making a donation to the growing work of Indigo Hippo in our region! Recurring monthly donations can make a huge difference to an organization - they are a great way to provide on-going support and shift a larger donation into small, bite-size amounts.
We are grateful for any amount that you contribute to our work! Here are some donation values to consider and how they could impact our organization:
$10 — Spread the love. Both our storefront and training program run on a pay-what-you-can scale allowing individuals with different financial resources access to what they need. If you give a little someone else is able to pay a little less.
$15 — Safe Space. Support us in continuing to make decisions every day aligned with creating and holding a space where everyone belongs.
$25 — Maintenance of our in-store gallery, providing local artists a space to share their voice and illustrate the power of creativity.
$50 — Store improvements to help with accessibility for our friends with varied range of motion. (ex: fixtures allowing for wider aisle space, and threshold/door access improvements)
$75 — Continued storefront growth, allowing for the increased intake and processing of material donations - further keeping resources out of the waste stream and connecting them with students, artists, teachers, and community organizers who need them.
$100 — Support the staff, volunteers, and materials required for our expanding organization.
$250 — Sponsor a local leader to attend our Creative Arts Programming 10-hr Training! The value of this training is $250. It is offered on a pay-what-you-can scale of $150-$275. By donating the full amount (or a little more) you allow one individual to be able to attend on full scholarship, while supporting others to be able to pay less. Learn more about our training here.
