If you know me or follow me on social media, you've likely seen a LOT of selfies over the past several months with beard-related hashtags - #beard, #beards, #gaybeard, #greybeard. It's not that I'm (that) narcissistic, I just wanted to get a head start on folks noticing my big ol' beard because I knew I wanted to enter this competition!
As all of these profiles say... "I'm turning my whiskers into wishes!"
I'm using my manly mug to raise funds for Make-A-Wish Vermont to help grant wishes for VT's wish kids. Make-A-Wish Vermont granted over 830 wishes to Vermont children with life-threatening medical conditions over the last 30 years.
Your donation will help me be an online top fundraiser and to get an invite to participate in the in-person event at ArtsRiot on March 16th. Jonathan Goldsmith, the original Most Interesting Man in the World, will be a guest judge and I have to have the chance to tell him my Most Interesting Beard Story (which I currently do not have, so I better get crackin on that).
Please show some support for my beard and help me make it to the in-person finals in March!
