In lieu of gifts, Jay and Gaby encourage you to donate to the Strain Hunters Foundation. Why, you ask? Because the foundation, created by the crew of the "Strain Hunters" documentary series, provides important humanitarian aid in poor areas throughout the world. If you're unfamiliar with the documentaries, they're a fascinating watch-- as the name suggests, the strain hunters are in search of rare cannabis landrace strains, tracing them to their country of origin and collecting them for medical research. This mission takes them all over the world, often to remote regions in developing countries, where they take the time to learn about the importance of the strain in the local culture and do what they can to establish medical, social, and educational services for their host communities.
This is where the Foundation comes in. They are continuously running campaigns to support communities throughout the world, from providing bicycles to villagers in the Congo to running a soup kitchen in Cape Town. In the spirit of love and celebration, we invite you to give what you can and make someone halfway around the world their own reason to celebrate.
