The Joe Andruzzi Foundation is committed to providing help, hope, and a reason to smile for cancer patients and their families by contributing financial and emotional support when it is needed most.
Cancer has touched me in many ways. Family, friends. Direct and indirect. Young and old. Some beat it and and some did not. I realize that this is sadly a statement that any of us could truthfully make. Cancer doesn't discriminate.
So when I was faced with choosing my charity this year, I wanted to put my efforts towards fighting cancer and helping those who are personally fighting it. When people ask me how I do it and what it's like to run 26.2 miles, the answer is easy. It's a no-brainer. It's a blessing. I'm strong and healthy and have the ability to push my body, while raising money for those who can't. Please help me support the fighters and cheer them on as they face their own marathons. Thank you for your support and I will kick this marathon and cancer's ass!
