Hi! I am thrilled to say that I will be running this year’s Boston Marathon, as a member of Team Framingham, with a goal of raising at least $3,000 for Framingham High School’s Resiliency for Life (RFL) program.
Through a unique partnership with Framingham High School, RFL serves students with social difficulties who are at-risk of academic failure. As a graduate of Framingham High School, I saw firsthand the immense value of RFL to some of my friends and classmates. Funds raised on behalf of RFL go directly to covering costs of student’s college visits, snacks so students can concentrate in class, school supplies, after school tutoring, bi-monthly parent meetings, and even co-pays for therapy appointments.
Many students in the program would not be able to achieve these things without the outstanding support of RFL. I hope to see this program continue to grow and thrive in the future. Copied below is a link to the RFL website as well as links to a couple of the many notable success stories of graduates of the RFL program. Please reach out to me with any questions you may have, and thank you for your support!
