As many of my family and friends know, I am a big advocate in making a difference within my community. I have worked at Judson Center, a non-profit agency for almost two years in the mental health program as a mental health therapist. My job is to help children (4-17) who suffer from a severe mental illness or emotional impairment which could place the child at risk for an out-of-home placement such as a psychiatric hospital or residential facility. I have become very passionate about Judson Center as this organization helps serve children and adults living with mental illness and provides services for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Since 2006, Team Autism for Judson Center has raised over $100,000 for programs and services for Michigan children with autism. 1 in 68 children are diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. By Supporting Team Autism for Judson Center you will help children in our community with ASD. Just $250 covers the cost of 8 weeks of social skills therapy for one child.
My goal is to continue making a difference in the lives of children in our community further through raising money. Please consider donating to an amazing organization and cause!
