This will be my third year running the Lake Fork Flyathlon in Gunnison, CO.
For those who don't know, the Flyathlon is like a regular triathlon, but instead of running, biking, and swimming, we get to run, fish, and drink beer. The goal is to catch a fish before crossing the finish line, with bigger fish shaving more time off your total run. Then we celebrate with lots and lots of good beer.
This is a fundraiser race to raise money for the protection of native trout and their habitats here in Colorado. As runners, we pay a fee to join the race which helps out, but it'd be extra awesome if other people would like to throw some help our way. Any little bit helps and I appreciate any donations toward this awesome cause for native fish!
