At the Family Partnership, 94% of kids who graduate from our therapeutic preschools are kindergarten ready, compared to 30% of kids across the state who live in poverty.
But in order to be kindergarten-ready, children need to get to school.
We promise families transportation so they can get to school and we need a bus that is in good repair.
· When the bus doesn’t start or breaks down, there is no back-up. Teachers have to pick kids up in their cars – sometimes one child at a time.
· The seats in the bus are covered in duct tape.
· The heat in the current bus is unreliable, so, kids need blankets to stay warm.
Families deserve better.
We need your help to buy a new bus.
The Family Partnership is a Minneapolis based non-profit. We support kids in need becoming kindergarten ready, parents and caregivers developing the tools to support children's development and family success, those in need of mental health counseling, and youth and adults escaping commercial sex trafficking.
