Dear Family & Friends,
In mid-October, my older son Nicholas and I will be spending 6 days climbing up Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, which is the highest mountain in Africa at 19,341 feet (5895 meters). We would like to take this opportunity to raise awareness and donations to help local Tanzanian children.
While Tanzania is a stable East African democracy, it is also a very poor country. For example, many children don’t attend school simply because there are very few schools in existence. The Tanzania Education Fund supports girls and boys, many of them orphans, through scholarships and the Girls' English Language Immersion Initiative. They also provide students, teachers and the greater community with healthcare through the Modern Medics Tanzania Clinic.
We would like to kindly ask you to please support our efforts to raise money for a great cause by donating to our fundraiser. We recommend any amount up to $25, but whatever you can give will be greatly appreciated! Our goal is to collect a total of $750 for the Tanzanian Education Fund.
Thank you for your generosity!
Frank and Nicky
