On Saturday, November 18, 2017, the "Running to the Rescue" team will be participating in the NYC Runs Queens Half-Marathon. We'll also be raising money for the International Rescue Committee (help.rescue.org).
The International Rescue Committee responds to the world’s worst humanitarian crises and helps people whose lives and livelihoods are shattered by conflict and disaster to survive, recover, and gain control of their future.
The "Running to the Rescue" team consists of one veteran and four first time half-marathon runners.
Our goal is to raise $500 or more.
All donations are tax deductable and will benefit the IRC's work in Africa, Asia, Mid-East, Europe and the United States. The IRC is a accredited (BBB) and a 4 Star charity (Charity Navaigator).
Support the "Running to the Rescue" runners to a strong finish.
