KSA Stonewall Sails Regatta 2019

Knickerbocker Sailing Association is thrilled to help raise donations for the Stonewall Sails Regatta 2019 and to support one of our favorite local charities, Hudson River Community Sailing! This is a very special year for KSA — we are celebrating the 25th anniversary of KSA, the 50th anniversary of Stonewall, and WorldPride NYC.

Knickerbocker Sailing Association

Knickerbocker Sailing Association is a non-profit gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender boating club. We encourage members who support diversity and enjoy getting out on the water of the greater New York area.

KSA looks forward to hosting its annual Stonewall Sails Regatta once again, and continuing to support our local sailing community by raising funds for HRCS.

Register for the regatta here!

Hudson River Community Sailing

HRCS is a wonderful non-profit that believes everyone can learn to sail. Their primary mission is to teach underserved NYC youth math, science, and leadership through sailing and boatbuilding.

It’s secondary mission is to provide maritime education and recreation to the NYC community at large, including LGBT sailors. Thank You HRCS!

Stonewall 50

2019 marks the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall uprising. While many individuals fought for gay rights prior to the the Stonewall Riots, the Stonewall Riots are known to be the birth of the modern LGBT movement.

WorldPride NYC

The first ever WorldPride was held in Rome in 2000. This year, in conjunction with the 50th anniversary of Stonewall, WorldPride will be hosted for the first time on US soil – in New York City.

WorldPride is organized by InterPride, an international association of pride coordinators.

Please support HRCS with a generous donation of any amount. Help KSA raise the funds to sustain this vital educational program for underserved NYC youth.

See you on the water!
