This year we have certainly seen the devastation Mother Nature can cause. Billions of dollars in damages from Category 4 & 5 storms Harvey, Irma and Maria which all made landfall within months of each other, have left thousands in Texas, Florida and Puerto Rico struggling to pick up the pieces. Disaster officials have become overwhelmed with the amount of work and a shortage of qualified workers are forcing residents to endure long delays before assistance is provided. Although millions of pounds of debris have already been collected and restoration efforts well underway, the extraordinary impacts can still be felt and seen by these broken communities and the need is still urgent.
With the hurricane season coming to an end and the holidays quickly approaching, the Lane Valente Charity Committee has been gearing up for their annual charity drives. This year, the company will be promoting two charity options, one of which is the Hand in Hand Hurricane Relief Fund. Every donation will be 100% matched by Lane Valente and all publicly raised proceeds from this charity will be donated to help those directly impacted recover and rebuild.
Sometimes it takes a tragedy such as these, to bring people together and show support. This is a great event to get involved in and with your help Lane Valente and Hand in Hand can provide support to some of those who need it most. Please open your hearts and give today to help build a better tomorrow.
Thank you so much for your support!
