I first participated in the Run To Home Base in 2014 and will be returning for the 5th time on July 27, 2018.
The Run to Home Base is a charity that helps US military service Veterans and their families deal with the ‘Invisible Wounds of War.

The Home Base program is an affiliation of the Red Sox Foundation and Mass General Hospital. A wonderful description of what the Home Base program does for Service Members and their families can be found here: http://homebase.org/about-home-base/who-we-are/our-mission/
Why do I participate? There are numerous Veterans and military service members among my extended family and friends. While a few were lost due to illness, I am fortunate that the rest have not had to deal with Traumatic Brain Injury, or Post Traumatic Stress. But there are many thousands of Veterans out there that do need help, and this program is specifically targeted at them and has had tremendous, well documented results.
Over my previous 4 events, I have raised over $3500 for this organization. My goal for this year is $1000.

Thank you in advance for any help you can give.
