We need your help to continue reaching the 10.3 MILLION PEOPLE that have been affected.
Moonsoon season in Southeast Asia has led to more severe flooding in India this summer, impacting the states of Assam and Bihar most substantially. According to CNN, the death toll in Bihar is up to 67 and Assam has had 10 deaths attributed to flooding. Further, more than 10.3 million people have been affected in total.
On July 4th, 2019, in anticipation of these floods, 300 LifeStraw Family 2.0 purifiers were distributed in a very poor section of the Golaghat district of Assam.
We are currently in discussions with key Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) partners in India, along with the Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation and the Home Ministry that manages the National Disaster Response Force and the State Disaster Response Force.
Please consider making a donation, and sharing this fundraiser for lifesaving, LifeStraw products on your own social media platforms.
Thank you very much and stay tuned for updates!
