Hope's Crossing is participating in the Little Black Dress Initiative (LBDI) from June 3rd – 9th, 2019 aimed to raise awareness to the effects of poverty on women and families in our communities. During this week long campaign, Hope's Crossing will be fundraising to expand programs that will combat the impact on women experiencing all level of poverty, with programs and services designed to build Self -confidence, self-esteem and arm them with the life skills and training necessary to become contributing members of our community.
With 14.2 % of the female population in Arizona living in poverty, families are struggling to access all the resources necessary to live healthy and productive lives. We must extend our Hand of Hope to help families access education, employment, safe and affordable housing and most importantly physical and mental health services.
