It’s been almost a year ago since I made a phone call that forever changed our life. As a family we were struggling with the idea of sending Olivia back to public school for another year. I decided to call and get some information and from the minute I spoke to Laura on the phone I knew this school would be our saving grace.
A week later we walked into the school for a tour and I felt a sense of hope that I hadn’t felt in years. I knew this school would bring out the best parts of Olivia that had been lost from years of feeling different, frustrated with learning and and overall sense of being misunderstood.
If you know Olivia, you know she is the most loving, warm spirited girl but due to the severe OCD that she struggles with these traits often get lost with the repetition and anxiety that can overwhelm her.
Although this is something we as a family will deal with for years to come, as her mother I can breathe a sense of relief knowing she attends a school where she is celebrated for being different. There aren’t enough words to express how lucky we are to have found Radcliffe and this amazing group of people that make it what it is.
With that being said we as a family and team want to give back as much as we can so families like us can experience the same relief we can if unable to afford it. We are asking friends and family to help us reach our goal. Thank you for all your support.
