Help Helen Vine Recovery Center move into a new home for the holidays! On #GivingTuesday 2017, Buckelew Programs is asking for your help with funding to furnish and support a new facility for our Helen Vine Recovery Center in San Rafael, CA., slated to open early 2018.
Helen Vine Recovery Center is a safe place for people detoxing from drugs and alcohol. Many also have mental health challenges. Sobriety takes renewed commitment every day in a supportive environment. Helen Vine Recovery Center is that supportive place. 26 beds, experienced staff, a loving family.
Last year, Helen Vine counted over 1,200 admissions – every single one a first step on the road to recovery. Your donation today will help us buy essential furnishings for this project, built in collaboration with community partners and with the support of families like yours, families touched by addiction. Helen Vine Recovery Center was named for the daughter of such a family. Unable to find a treatment center that could address her dual diagnosis of bipolar disorder and substance use, Helen died tragically of an overdose. Buckelew Programs is committed to building an accessible, community bridge between treatment and recovery.
Our goal is to raise at least $5,000 by the end of the day on #GivingTuesday. We can't do it alone.... You'd like to help? Fantastic! Your donation of any size helps us get closer to our "move in" date of Spring 2018.
What will my donation buy? Here are some examples:
* $25 buys 1 set towels. Bath, hand & face.
* $100 buys a set of sheets and a comforter. (Everyone needs a comforter)
* $500 buys a computer and printer
* $3,000 buys Helen Vine Recovery Center a commercial grade washer and dryer.
You're not just buying towels... You are helping us create a healing, beautiful home for people in recovery. Building self esteem is essential in addiction recovery. Recovering in a clean and affirming environment positively affects self worth and self esteem. It's foundational for recovery. Please donate today to help an individual in recovery, their family and our community. We are stronger together. Buckelew Programs promotes recovery, resilience and hope. Please help us spread the word.
