This summer, Malcolm Park Pride is hosting the Malcolm Park Field of Dreams campaign featuring its first annual kickball tournament! We are fundraising for the Gary McClellan Pavilion located at Malcolm Park. We want to have a fun community event for kids and adults. Teams of all ages are welcome. Our goal is to help make Malcolm Park an integral part of our community. The fields are already used by many community members all summer long with softball, baseball, and little leagues, but we also have the potential to draw visitors with summer tournaments. Improvements need to be made in order for this park to compete as a destination for summer softball and baseball tournaments. While the Soo Locks are our pride and joy, there is a lot more we have to offer as a community for ourselves and our visitors.
To enter your team, contact Stacy Post at firstname.lastname@example.org Teams should have at least 10 people, with a fundraising goal of $1,000. That’s only $100 per person! Don’t be intimidated! Just think, you only need to ask 10 people for a $10 donation. When you break down your goals into smaller amounts, it’s way more tangible! We will provide fundraising materials to ensure you are successful in this campaign. You’ll be surprised how easily you’ll reach your goal. Your team will then be put into an age bracket for the tournament.
Stacy brings to our community amazing experience in fundraising/crowdfunding. She has tons of resources to help set, track, and reach your fundraising goals! We will have a team captain social at the beginning of summer to empower you in reaching your fundraising goals.
This will be a fun filled day for families of all kinds to celebrate your fundraising success. Whether you have small children or your family is grown up, there will be something for you! We will have bouncy houses, slip and slide, and a scavenger hunt for kids of all ages, as well as concessions, music, and beverages for adults. Our main goal is to show the community the potential use of Malcolm Park as well as the power of coming together to support each other!
