I'm running my first race later this month to benefit an awesome organization called CAMBA. CAMBA is a New York City non-profit that's working to build a more inclusive NYC.
From their website:
Many New Yorkers face daily hurdles such as housing instability, living with HIV/AIDS, language barriers, domestic violence, and insufficient job skills. Since 1977, CAMBA has helped New Yorkers transform their lives by providing holistic programs to individuals, families and communities.
CAMBA helps break the generational cycle of poverty by funding programs that guide students entering high school through the academic and application process so they can achieve success in college. Also, whether it is emergency food, a safe and permanent home, or a new job, clients in CAMBA’s programs are connected to the supports they need in order to transform their lives.
I would love to raise some money for the race, so please join me in supporting this organization!
