Hi everyone! In August, I am taking a trip to Quito, Ecuador where I will be working with Timmy Global Health as well as local health organization Tierra Nueva Foundation to provide lead a medical service trip where I will be providing clinical care to many who have trouble recieveing continuous care. We will be reaching 10 partner communities, each of which is visited every 2-3 months throughout the year. This system of maintaining care in specific communities makes it possible to follow up with critical care patients, treat chronic conditions, and increase the overall quality, sustainability, and impact of our short-term medical clinics. I am so excited to go on this trip for so many reasons. I am thrilled to be a part of a team that will provide medical care to very hardworking and well-deserving patients, but I am also looking forward to the knowledge I will gain in the field of Public Health. As part of my expenses for this trip, I will be paying for any additional treatments our patients will need at local health care facilites. So if you choose to support me, you will not only help me provide my patients with clinical well-being checks, but also with transportation and access to additional care that would not normally be feasible for them. Any help you could provide would mean the world to both me and my patients!
