I am excited to SLEEP OUT! to raise funds and awareness for homeless youth. I joined the SLEEP OUT! committee because I believe Huck House is making an important difference, not just for individual homeless youth, but for our community.
In 2016, 520 teens ages 12-17 stayed at Huckleberry House's Crisis Shelter. Since 2012, the number of homeless youth served annually by our Youth Outreach Program has doubled.
SLEEP OUT! is an overnight event to experience what troubled local youth face every day. Our goal is to raise community awareness and funds in support of homeless youth.
