My family and I have been members of the Metrowest YMCA for several years now and continue to be amazed by all it has to offer. Not only is it a big part of our family life, but we’ve learned it is an integral part of our Community here in Framingham as well. We feel very fortunate to be part of it and I am honored to have the chance to give back.
Beyond just a gym for us to stay in shape my wife and I really enjoy bringing our daughters, Julia and Michaela to participate in the many different youth programs at the Y. The Y helps us develop our daughters into well-adjusted kids, and at very affordable prices. Julia and Michaela enjoy gymnastics, swim, ballet, ninja warrior, a new jungle gym, they’ve attended great events like exploring Framingham's newest fire engine, arts and crafts, halloween parties, and summer camp. We‘ve spent many Summer days at the YMCA pool swimming, playing on the splash pad, playground, and just enjoying lunch together. They've been introduced to sports, exercise, motor skills, listening skills, group skills, and new friends. They look up to their counselors/teachers as role models and get so excited to bring home drawings and tell us about the friends they‘ve played with. We’ve enjoyed a lot of quality family time together at the Y, and at very affordable prices.
The YMCA is able to continue to offer so many great programs at low rates and financial assistance because of the many donations from people like you.
I am grateful at the opportunity to give back to the YMCA byraising awareness and donations. The Boston Marathon won’t be easy, but I'm part of an amazing team of people that will be supporting eachother right to the finish line. I recently completed my first marathon (the baystate marathon) and am excited for this new challenge.
I greatly appreciate any donation you're able to make. It will go towards a truly great cause.
